Denise’s voice, and the others’ voices, begin to drone out, sound further and further away as it all begins to close in on poor Rick. His son is gravely wounded, eye shot out, he just watched his girlfriend and her son get eaten alive by walkers, and he had to hack off his doomed gf’s arm to free his son…and then Carl took a bullet in the eye that was meant for Rick.
