My guess is that this young person may be Rowan, maybe acting out, like, “Rick killed my dad, so I’m going to run blindly into the woods, even though I have no idea what the fuck I’m doing out in the feral open,” and maybe Rick is tailing him, keeping an eye on him…and, of course having to save his angry, young ass…
