Ok, so if you were like me, you were probably wondering, at this point in the watching, “If Carol doesn’t want to kill anybody any more, why sew a Glock in her sleeve?” Excellent question, and while I do not have a definitive answer for this, I do offer two theories: The Carol On The Cross Theory goes something like this: Carol doesn’t want to kill, but in going off alone in the Feral Open, she does know by now that she will eventually run into some serious shit, and in such case, sometimes a gal’s gotta have a Glock in her sleeve. My other theory, the Cray Like A Silver Fox Theory, states that Carol intends to find Negan’s main compound and try to take responsibility for all the Saviors piling up dead (and undead), charred, smoking, all over the place, in a last ditch effort to atone somehow for her sins and help save her righteous tribe.
